The links below will take you to our online registration system called DoubleKnot. If you had an account with our previous online system, you should have an account with the new system. If you have not used the DoubleKnot system before, please click here for instructions that will help you find your username and password, renew and purchase new memberships, and sign up for sailing programs.

You are also welcome to call if you'd prefer to have us take your membership or registration by phone. Thanks!

Renew Your Membership

• If your membership has already expired, you can renew online by simply purchasing a new membership (click the appropriate link below). If your Membership has not yet expired, please call us so that we can adjust the Start date.
• You can also renew by calling (360) 379-0438 or e-mailing office@soundexp.org.

Become a Member of Sound Experience (select a membership type):

• Individual Membership ($50 per person per year)
• Family/Household Membership ($85 per family per year)
• Deckhand Membership ($500 per year)
• First Mate Membership ($1,000 per year)
• Captain Membership ($2,500 per year)

Guidance for using the DoubleKnot registration system

Registering without a Sound Experience Membership

If you do not have a Sound Experience membership, you can register for any sail or create a new membership without a user account. Simply follow the links above and when you are given options to "sign on," click the link "To continue without sign on, click here." Add the name or names of people you wish to register using the form, then click the "Add" button.  When you have entered all the people you wish to register for the membership or sail, use the "Continue" button to proceed through the rest of the registration process.

Registering with a Sound Experience Membership

Your username and Member Code

If you have a Sound Experience Membership, you should have recieved an email containing your username and Member Code that you will use to "sign on" to the system and recieve member pricing for events. We are offering Member pricing in our online registration system through the use of a "Member Code." If you have not received this email, or have lost either your username or Member Code, please contact our office staff to retrieve them:  (360) 379-0438,

You can also retrieve your username and password by entering your email address in the DoubleKnot password retrieval form. After you complete the form, your username and password will be emailed to you.

Registering for Sails & Renewing Memberships

• When you are armed with your username, password, and Member Code, follow the registration links above.
• When prompted, you will want to "sign-on" by clicking the link, "To sign on using an existing User ID, click here..."  
• After signing on, you will see a grey box showing your name and some personal information next to a checkbox. 
• If you wish to register yourself, click the checkbox next to your name, then click the add button.  Even though you will see in RED a warning telling you there are no members to add, you should see your name on the lower portion of the form, letting you know you've been added to the registration. 
• Click the "Continue" button to proceed to the next form where you can add other member or non-member registrants. 
• Use the "Add" button to add mulitple registrants, such as family members or guests. 
• When you are done adding all the registrants, use the "Continue" button to proceed through the rest of the registration process.
