Become a Ship's Apprentice
Crew aboard the schooner Adventuress (age 15+)
Our Ship's Apprentice Program is a very special opportunity for teenagers between ages 15-17 who have previously sailed aboard Adventuress on an overnight program. As a Ship's Apprentice, you will become a junior member of the crew, joining watches and supporting our environmental programs. You'll have the opportunity to learn advanced sailing skills, help teach classes and tailor your own experience to what most interests you.
Ship's Apprentices join us for anywhere from 3 days to one month. The cost is $40 per day.* Let us know your available dates when you fill out your application (see link below).

*A limited number of scholarships (full and partial) are available for this program for teenagers whose families are unable to afford the cost of this program. Please let us know if you are requesting scholarship support in your application.
