Public Day Sails, DocksideTours, & Special Event Sails

Public Day Sails and Dockside Tours are offered at our ports-of-call around Puget Sound during our sailing season from March through October. The 3-hour Public Day Sails are open to participants of all ages. They are a perfect way to explore Puget Sound and learn about our unique marine environment...while sailing aboard a historic tall ship. Participants are encouraged to join in to raise the sails, sing a sea chanty or two, and enjoy one of our shipboard classes. Or just sit back and enjoy the scenery!  

Cost for Public Day Sails:

Members:  FREE!!! (One person per sail with an Individual or Student/Senion Membership; all family members in a household with a Family/Household Membership). Unlimited numbers of Guest Passes can be purchased at half the Non-Member rate. 

Please note that Special Event Sails (Mother's Day, Father's Day, and the Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival) are NOT included as free Member Benefit sails and do require separate ticket purchases. 

Non-Members: $40 adults/$20 Youth (18 and under)

Dockside Tours 

Dockside Tours are also offered throughout the season, usually in conjunction with a Public Day Sail. They are free of charge and are a great chance to come aboard and tour the ship and learn more about our programs.

Port Directions

We sail out of ports all around Puget Sound, including: Olympia, Tacoma, Bainbridge Island, Seattle/Elliott Bay, Lake Union, Kirkland, Everett, Bellingham, Port Townsend, and Friday Harbor.   C

Please note that these are Festival sails (NOT Public Sails) and do require tickets for all participants.

• Complimentary Passes (such as those purchased at auctions) are not valid on these sails.

• They are not included as free Member Benefit sails. 

• Cost is $55 for adults and $25 for youth (18 and under).
