Sound Explorations Overnight Program
In this packet you will find materials that help you prepare for your overnight voyage aboard Adventuress. This includes a checklist, curriculum information, background information, and paperwork. Many of the documents in the packet are also listed below.
In this packet you will find materials that will help students prepare for their overnight voyage aboard Adventuress. This includes a gear list, a history of Adventuress, and what to expect throughout the voyage. Please distribute it to your students.
Release Agreement - All participants must have a signed release agreement filled out and turned into the office 2 weeks to a month prior to your sail
Medical Health History - All participants must fill out and return a Medical Health History form to the office 2 weeks to a month prior to your sail
Code of Conduct - All youth must sign and return the Code of Conduct 2 weeks to a month prior to your sail
Get to Know Your Group - For the teacher/group leader to fill out and send into the office 2 weeks to a month prior to your sail
Get to Know You - For each student to fill out and return 2 weeks to a month prior to your sail
Get to Know Your Child - For parents to fill out on behalf of their children 2 weeks to a month prior to your sail
Participant Demographics - Please bring this filled out form with you the day of your sail
Watch Group List - Please divide your group into 3 watch groups and send it into the office 2 weeks to a month prior to your sail
Letter to Parents - This letter can help parents prepare their children for their trip aboard Adventuress
Letter to Chaperones - This letter can help set up expectations for chaperones before their trip aboard Adventuress
Shanties - Lyrics and audio (coming soon!) to several of the shanties we like to sing aboard. If you'd like to teach your students a shanty prior to their coming aboard, we'll make sure we sing that one while raising the sails!
